Tumkur Ophthalmic Society is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in eye care, education and research in the Tumkur region of Karnataka, India. Comprised of ophthalmologists, optometrists and other eye care professionals, the society serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and advocacy in the field of ophthalmology.
Pragati Foundation is a public charitable trust. Foundation provide support to upgrade infrastructure in selected schools in India that cater to children up to grade 8 and provide scholarships to support expenses towards tuition and books for meritorious students from economically weaker families and undertake efforts to monitor and improve health of school children who may likely to be malnourished.
Rakesh Netralaya in Salagame road, Hassan is a leading eye care provider in Hassan. The clinic has all the required facilities to treat patients including surgeries. They have been providing immense support in screening activities of the foundation in Hassan District.
Has been providing immense support in our activities. This Tertiary Eye Care Centre was started by noted ophthalmologist, Dr. K Ramachandra Murthy in 2001 and has now emerged as a Centre of Excellence and Training in various areas of ophthalmology. Known to provide quality and affordable eye care services encompassing all ophthalmic sub specialities, the hospital also provides a large number of community out reach programmes. Known for the highest ethical standards, the hospital is also known for the many innovations in the field of eye care.
